Dr. Andrea Beanan

 

Dr. Beanan was born and raised in Tonawanda, New York.  After graduating from Sweet Home High School, she entered the University of Rochester.  Dr. Beanan then attended the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where she received her degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.  While attending UB she participated in a service trip to the Dominican Republic and earned an externship with Indian Health Services in Montana.   

 

After graduating, Dr. Beanan moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where she completed a General Practice Residency program. The program focused on treating underserved populations and provided advanced training in general dentistry.  Upon completing her residency program she moved to Lake Placid, New York, where she worked as an associate dentist in a group practice.  

 

In 2014, Dr. Beanan returned to the Buffalo area and became the owner of the former practice of Dr. H. Joseph Mummery. Dr. Beanan is the niece of Dr. Mummery, and is excited to be continuing his legacy of serving the Elma community.    

 

In her spare time Dr. Beanan enjoys traveling, hiking, and cooking.  She also enjoys running and has completed several half marathons.
